Starter Endgame Filter

A simple filter shape for players who are tired of reading every drop but still want to avoid mistakes.

Protect first, clean up last

Put the items you never want to miss at the top: build-defining uniques, useful talisman pieces, Greater Affix gear, and slot-specific upgrade rules. Keep broad hide rules at the bottom so they only catch loot that failed your important checks.

Start with a short rule list

A good first endgame filter can be small: show the special items you care about, recolor likely upgrades, then hide the obvious clutter. Add more rules only after you notice a real farming problem.

Use colors as decisions

Pick one color for instant pickups, one color for possible upgrades, and one color for items you only want to inspect between runs. If every rule uses the same color, the filter is not helping you decide faster.
