Easier filter building
7
  • Start with a useful filter immediatelyWorkbench

Proven leveling, endgame, and affix-farming filters now appear when you open the workbench. You can begin from something useful instead of facing an empty rule and wondering where to start.

  • Build rules in normal languageRules

Sentence mode lets you create readable instructions for the loot you want to show, highlight, or hide. Building a filter feels more like describing your goal and less like programming.

  • Advanced editing is still availableRules

Sentence mode does not replace the full editor. You can switch between Sentence and Advanced modes at any time without losing your rule or rebuilding your choices.

  • D4Filter protects your rule orderSafety

Automatic priority keeps valuable-item protection rules above hide and cleanup rules, reducing the fear of accidentally hiding an upgrade because one rule was placed in the wrong position.

  • Manual priority remains availableWorkbench

Experienced players can switch priority management to Manual and arrange rules themselves using drag controls or movement buttons.

  • Large choice lists feel fasterPerformance

Opening item, affix, class, and Unique selections feels more responsive, especially when working with large filters. You spend less time waiting and more time refining what should drop.

  • Saved and shared filters open more safelyReliability

D4Filter checks saved filter data more carefully before loading it. Invalid or incomplete filter data is less likely to leave the workbench in a broken or confusing state.

More realistic loot testing
3
  • Simulate normal-sized loot pilesSimulator

Choose anywhere from 1 to 40 generated items. You can test a quiet drop or the kind of crowded ground loot you actually see during farming.

  • Crowded drops stay readableSimulator

Large simulations automatically arrange labels and items into denser layouts, helping you see what remains visible and what gets hidden without everything stacking on top of itself.

  • Loot looks closer to the gameSimulator

Weapons, armor, jewelry, materials, and other drops use recognizable ground icons, colored beams, and a more game-like scene. Testing a filter feels closer to checking real drops instead of reading plain boxes.

Safer and clearer

  • Send feedback without creating an accountFeedback

You can report a problem or suggest an improvement without supplying an email address, password, or personal identity.

  • Report misleading or harmful community contentCommunity

Shared filters and comments can now be reported. Clear community guidelines make it easier to understand what belongs on D4Filter and what does not.

  • Staff identities are better protectedTrust

Account names that could impersonate D4Filter staff are blocked, making official identities easier to trust.

  • Privacy choices are easier to understandPrivacy

Privacy information, cookie choices, and related controls are easier to find and use, giving you a clearer view of how the site behaves.

  • The site feels cleaner and lighterSite

Unused pages and distracting navigation were removed, loading work was reduced, and footer information was cleaned up. The path from opening D4Filter to building or sharing a filter feels more direct.

Improved

  • Import more builds with less cleanupImport

Mobalytics pages and pasted guide text now turn more of your build into useful filter rules, including gear slots, talismans, charms, and important item targets.

  • Imported names fit the game betterImport

Imported filter and rule names are kept within game-friendly limits, so they are less likely to need manual cleanup.

  • The workbench is calmer to useWorkbench

Longer filters are easier to read, search, reorder, and edit without extra labels getting in the way.

  • Rule priority is cleaner to readWorkbench

Rule numbers stay visible, while extra order text was removed so each row is easier to scan.

  • Problem rules are easier to spotRules

Rules now call out missing choices, warnings, and conflicts sooner, so you can fix a filter before exporting it.

  • Loot Simulator explains your resultsSimulator

Simulated drops now make it clearer which items would show, which would hide, and which rule caused that result.

  • The site matches the app betterSite

The homepage now uses a real workbench screenshot and the new D4F icon, so the public site feels closer to the tool players open.

  • Loot Simulator matches the game betterSimulator

Previewed drops use better game data, so testing a filter feels closer to what you expect in-game.

  • Build Import previews are easier to reviewReview

Before saving an imported build, you can more clearly see what was matched, what needs review, and what the importer could not use.

  • Community filters feel more reliableCommunity

Shared filters now show better view and rating signals, making it easier to find filters other players are actually using.

  • Hide rules warn before they hide too muchRules

If a broad hide rule could block useful items from later rules, the workbench warns you before it becomes a bad export.

  • Export details stay out of your wayExport

The export panel is less distracting while you are editing rules, but export status is still easy to check.

  • Import a guide instead of starting from scratchImport

You could paste a Maxroll guide or planner link and begin from a ready-to-review filter instead of building every rule by hand.

  • Paste guide text when a link is not enoughImport

When a guide page could not be read directly, you could paste the guide text and still create a useful starting filter.

  • Choose how strict an import should beImport

Low, medium, and high strictness let you choose between a forgiving filter and a closer build match.

  • Gear rules stay organized by slotBuilder

Imported gear targets were grouped by slot so Amulets, Rings, Weapons, Armor, and Charms stayed easier to review.

  • Pick your class before buildingBuilder

The workbench asks for your class and keeps unrelated class choices out of the way while you build.

  • Move and edit rules fasterBuilder

Rule editing, dragging, sorting, scrolling, and compact item pickers made filter setup easier to manage.

  • Test a filter before exportingPreview

The simulator helped you preview visible drops, hidden drops, recolors, and high-value items before using a filter in-game.

What this means for players

You can open the workbench, choose a useful starting filter, describe the loot you care about in normal words, trust D4Filter to keep safety rules above cleanup rules, and test the result against a realistic 40-item drop. Outside the builder, the site feels faster, safer, and easier to trust.
